Monster Trucks isn't exactly the greatest racing game ever, but it does offer a good amount of fun to steer it away from being bad or mediocre. As you would assume, you race around different courses in your monster truck, try and earn money, unlock new levels and just win. The graphics are actually pretty good for a Game Boy Advance title, and the gameplay works fine as it should on a Nintendo handheld, it's fun to crush cars and go over the many ramps and jumps in the game and get items that can increase the amount of money you make. Now to get to the bad. First, the framerate is slow, which slows down the action. And second, sometimes you don't see obstacles that can flip over your monster truck in time which can be a real hassle. If you're just looking for something to pass the time, this game offers enough content to keep you busy and provide decent fun.
