(More customer reviews)This "universal" truck rack was a poor fit for my F-150 step side. The curve of the bed rails would have made the rack install on an angle that would have placed the leading end of the ladder outside the footprint of the truck making a very dangerous situation and the potential to actually hit something with the ladder while driving or turning. In addition, Installation of the rear bracket would have narrowed the clear space in the bed to 3 foot 10 1/2 inches making it impossible to carry a 4 X 8 sheet of plywood or drywall flat in the bed. This was a poor choice for my application and I returned the item before I actually installed it.
