When travelling with bags or other items in the cargo area, if you have an accident or a rough ride, the baggage and cargo can jump or even become missiles inside your vehicle.
As the Journey has not the cargo net or barriers that I had in my previous Volvo station wagon, I bought this cargo net.
It stretches a lot, growing and growing according with your needs. As it has many hooks, it is easy to tie small or big loads.
To improve the safety, for heavy loads, in addition of the CC8640 Stretch Cord Cargo Net, I am using two ratchet ties. Their strong tapes cross over the net avoiding that the cargo move from its place.
